Quick Guide to the Gira G1 Range

The G1 range from Gira offers a unique KNX interface for controlling a room or building. It can also act as a door entry monitor making it truly multi functional.

With a brilliant 15.25 cm [6"] TFT colour display and a resolution of 480 × 800 pixels, the screen is crystal clear from all viewing angles. The user interface is clean and simple making it the perfect control point for setting temperatures, adjusting timers or configuring scenes.

It is available in black or white, with different power and network configurations to suit all installations. 

• Power over Ethernet with wired connection - Recommended for new installations and locations with data cabling

• 24VDC with wireless internet connection - Suitable for replacing a KNX keypad using the yellow and white pair for power

• 230VAC with wireless internet connection - For positions where only 230VAC power is available

Any model can be used with either a GIRA IP router connected to a KNX system or with a Gira DCS IP Gateway for connection to the Gira Door Communication system. Both connections can be used simultaneously allowing the G1 to fully control your automated home.

The G1 is one of the first true KNX IP devices having no twisted pair connection. All configuration is done in ETS then sent to the device over IP making it easy and quick to commission.
