Updating a Gira X1 in an existing project

To update the firmware of a Gira X1 server in an existing project the software, project and the device firmware all need to be updated. 


  1. First make sure the Gira Project Assistant (GPA) software is on the latest version by selecting the updates button at the top right.





  2. Then from the latest version of GPA open the existing project. A pop up will open asking you to copy and covert the project to the latest version. This will update the X1 in the project to the latest version and show any new functions and features.




  3. Finally, you can update the X1 from the Action centre.
