The Sentido keypad is a two button touch keypad that can be part of a Crestron¨ solution total control system. The Sentido keypad is a standard Cresnet¨ device, which can be programmed using SIMPL Windows. Touching a touch sensitive area will give a visual feedback by means of lighting up the central RGB Led. The central RGB Led can also be controlled over Cresnet¨ to provide a visual feedback of statuses. The Led can be used to illuminate the switch in the dark as well. The Sentido keypad uses the patented Multitouch technology. Touching more than one touch sensitive area at the same time activates an additional comfort function._

Description

The Basalte Sentido keypad has 2 touch sensitive areas.

Each of the 2 sensors can have the following action:

Disabled
Only Short Press
Short and Long Press

When more than one sensor is touched at the same time, the Multitouch function is executed. This function can be used for additional comfort functions. Available functions for Multitouch are:

Each Basalte Sentido keypad has a temperature sensor to report the ambient temperature on the Cresnet bus.

In SIMPL Windows, a ÔBasalte Sentido ConfigurationÕ module is used for every Sentido keypad in the project, to define the functionality for all sensors, the Multitouch and temperature.

Handmade in Belgium, Sentido for Cresnet¨ switches are manufactured and validated under the Crestron¨ Integrated Partner Program.

Installation

Never connect the device to 110 V / 230 V.
Avoid obstacles which might obstruct the proper mounting of the cover to the switch, such as round headed screws, plastering or textured wall paint.
Installing a Sentido on a metal wall or a mirror surface might cause the device not to function properly.
The minimum gap between 2 Sentido or Deseo must be at least 4 cm (1.6in).
Do not install any device nearby that might cause interference such as fluorescent lights or RF devices.
