Connects the KNX bus with the Ethernet network and encrypts communication. The device uses the KNXnet/IP Secure protocol for communication (Tunneling). KNX devices can be programmed via the LAN using ETS. For this and further clients 5 Secure Tunneling Servers are available. The IP address can be fixed or can be received from a DHCP server. Power supply via 12…30 V DC or PoE (IEEE 802.3af class 1).
Description
IP Interface 3.5.1 is the interface between KNX installations and IP networks.
KNX devices can be programmed via LAN using ETS, and clients, e.g. visual display systems, can access the KNX bus via the IPS/S 3.1.1 (five tunnelling servers are available from (ETS4).
The device uses the KNXnet/IP protocol from the KNX Association (tunnelling). The device is powered by 12 to 30 V DC or PoE (Power over Ethernet).
