GIRA - Servo Drive

Another new product from GIRA showcased at Light + Building 2016 was the KNX servo drive 3. At first appearance it is stylish with the curves helping to mask the inevitable bulkiness of the motor. The device has discrete feedback of the valve position not relying on unsightly LEDs.

The key innovation is inclusion of a temperature regulator which can read the temperature from within the device, from the Bus or off a connected temperature probe.

It fits standard M30 x 1.5mm valves and a wide range of adaptors are available for other thread sizes.
