Top Features & Benefits

The Faradite Motion Sensor 360 - KNX is designed to provide advanced automation capabilities for smart buildings using KNX. Some of its most unique and notable functions include:

1. Low Profile Design: The sensor has an ultra-slim profile, allowing it to blend seamlessly into various interior designs, making it unobtrusive.

2. Ambient Light Sensing: The sensor includes a built-in light sensor that can measure ambient light levels. This feature allows users to deliver 'daylight harvesting' or 'constant light control' to ensure a set LUX level is always achieved by dynamically dimming appropriate lighting circuits.

3. Scene Control: It can be programmed to trigger specific scenes in a KNX system, it can also differentiate which scene is triggered depending on night/day settings.

4. Configurable Parameters: Using ETS (Engineering Tool Software), users can configure various parameters of the sensor to tailor its behavior to specific needs, such as time delay, sensitivity, and function settings.

Our favourite feature...?

Not only can the Motion Sensor 360 KNX have up to 4 independent functions with independent timeouts and configuration parameters, integrators can also utilise the ‘Long Detection’ functionality. Each function can be configured separately (if required) to trigger different actions depending on the length of time a person is detected. That’s super smart!

Although called a ‘Motion’ Sensor, in reality this product has the technical capability of a presence detector, so no need to worry about unwanted timeouts.

Did you know...?

The Motion Sensor 360 KNX comes in white and black finishes but what isn’t immediately obvious is that for the black version, the ETS settings are customised with a slightly different response curve of the brightness sensor. This is because the light sensor reads the lux level with a slight difference inside a black unit.

With Faradite being a British KNX Manufacturer, the ETS parameters are written in English making them simple to understand and use.
