Introducing the KNX Smart Home Hub at Elex Show

In case you’ve not heard via social media, we’re part of the KNX Smart Home Hub, debuting at Elex Coventry. 

What is the KNX Smart Home Hub?  

It’s a collection of stands in one designated space at Elex Show, brought together to help electricians who want to install smart homes learn more about KNX.  

The hub is comprised of KNX Product Manufacturers (who are KNX UK members), the KNX UK Association, and us, the UK’s only (and longest-serving) independent KNX distributor. 

Why visit the KNX Smart Home Hub? 

To put it simply, we have been working on creating this ‘hub’ as a one-stop shop for electricians or anyone new to KNX, to ask questions, see products and get more information about how to start working with KNX. 

The KNX Smart Home Hub is a physical representation of the fact that working with KNX allows electricians and integrators to pick and choose which products they use for their projects.  

As an electrician, if you're not familiar with KNX, the KNX Smart Home Hub allows you to see a variety of products, speak to technical and product experts, and collect information all in one place. You can leave the hub with a clear idea of what KNX is, how it could benefit your business, and how to get started. 

What and who will I find at the KNX Smart Home Hub? 

At Elex Coventry and Sandown, visitors to the hub can speak to product manufacturers, KNX UK, and Ivory Egg. You'll get to meet:

• Representatives from a variety of manufacturers will be on hand to help visitors learn more about products, see samples and pick up brochures. 

• KNX UK – Representatives from the national group for KNX in the UK will be there to answer any questions about membership, the KNX Association and explain the work they do to increase the demand for KNX and improve standards across the industry.  
• The Ivory Egg team. We’ll be there to talk to electricians about how they can buy KNX products when they are ready, and how we can offer support with our online training platform and our knowledgeable and friendly team. 

Which manufacturers will be in the KNX Smart Home Hub? 

At Elex Coventry, visitors to the hub will be able to chat with Zennio, and at Elex Sandown Park we will be joined by Zennio, Theben, Gira and Jung. 

How do I visit the KNX Smart Home Hub? 

All you need to do is register to visit either Elex Coventry or Elex Sandown Park. Tickets are free and on arrival, you get a voucher for a free bacon roll – bonus! 

The KNX Smart Home Hub is a collection of stands altogether in one area, so once at either event make your way to the Ivory Egg stand and you’ll have successfully found your way to the KNX Smart Home Hub!
