Ivory Egg invest in the future of renewable energy
The Solar Decathlon, also often dubbed the Energy Olympics, is a contest which challenges university teams from all around the world to design, build and operate sustainable solar powered homes. The next competition is being held in Dubai in 2018 and the Team of University of Wollongong will start with their project ‘Desert Rose’, a technologically advanced, age friendly home. The project shall change the way the world views sustainable housing by building a home that is architecturally inspiring, affordable and adaptive to a person’s needs as they continue to age, creating ‘a house for life’.
As one of the foremost KNX technical distributors in Australia, Ivory Egg is proud that the UOW Solar Decathlon Team decided to use the internationally recognised KNX technology as their preferred building control protocol over all other available systems. Ivory Egg is pleased to sponsor the UOW Solar Decathlon Team by providing the required KNX training and to support the UOW team with its extensive product knowledge on their way to hopefully win another Solar Decathlon.
Do you have further questions regarding KNX technology and its various possibilities for energy saving and building control? Then get in contact with the Ivory Egg team.
