ISE 2025

From 4-7th February, Monika, Chris & Adrian were in Barcelona for the industry's biggest system integration and AV trade show. It is truly something to behold and here are some of our highlights...

*New* news

Basalte 

• Adelante updates - On display was a new numeric keypad, a QR code reader feature and the news that a future update will include features and functionality that will make the Adelante solution viable for use with MDU projects.
• Basalte Home updates - There is a new security feature which allows a homeowner/occupier to set an ‘away mode’ when leaving a property.
• Other news - 3 new gateways are in the works for even more integration opportunities, these include DALI2, Modbus and DMX.

As is typical with a lot of new products and features that are unveiled at ISE we don’t have any dates yet regarding availability. Keep in touch with your Ivory Egg Account Manager and we’ll be sure to tell you the latest information when we have it.

Faradite 

• Plaster-in Motion Sensor 360 (KNX and Volt Free versions) - As a Faradite distribution partner we were lucky to get a sneak peek of this new product just before the show. There was so much positive feedback about this product on the Faradite stand, with integrators remarking that, “It’s so simple but really well engineered,” and that, “nothing else on the market that is as easy to install”.

Zennio

• New finish - A section of the Zennio stand was dedicated to showing off their newest colour way - a ‘Champagne’ finish. 
• GRMS - Also popular was the latest version of the Guest Room Management System (GRMS) management software and visualisation. View the Zennio Hotels Brochure.

Recent news on display at the show

Gira 

• On display on the Gira stand was the new numeric keypad for door entry systems. This long-awaited update is now more secure and removes the previous limitation of the number of call buttons. This new module allows a visitor to dial a number to call for access, making the 106 Door Entry range a viable option now for MDU projects. This numeric keypad is now available to order - Shop Now. 
• Gira Eco -The Gira Eco offers the ability to integrate vehicle charging into the KNX environment and for the charging process to be managed by the Gira Smart Home App and the G1. Shop Gira Eco.  

iSE 

It was great to see this product on display! When it was originally released we featured this product as as one of our product spotlights and after some delays with availability, we are pleased to say that we have this item in stock (at the time this is published). Shop Now. 

JUNG

The JUNG OpenAPI platform offers more flexible connectivity and control of JUNG solutions across systems (JUNG HOME, JUNG Visu Pro and Smart Visa Server) and gives homeowners and occupiers a consistent experience when communicating with other third-party applications. Read more about JUNG OpenAPI

Takeaways from the show

As always, ISE is a great place to network as well as see what’s new. Unsurprisingly the overall impression of the show was one of connectivity.

We saw plenty of DALI compatible products on display and felt that KNX was coming up in even more conversations which is really positive, especially at an AV centric show. 

More manufacturers are now making it even easier to integrate with KNX, and both Crestron and Control4 are making noise about their solutions which demonstrates our feeling that more than ever people are recognising that KNX is *THE* platform to work with.
