Can the GIRA G1 be Used With Any KNX Router?

The G1 models that connect to KNX via an Ethernet connection can. These are 2069 05 and 2069 12.


If you are using a model with wireless connection, then the IP router must support reliable KNX communication. This feature has been added to avoid packet loss and has recently been included in the requirements for an IP router.


Wifi models are 2067 05, 2067 12, 2077 05 and 2077 12. 


Currently the GIRA IP Router 2167 00 is the only model to support reliable KNX communication.
