Problems With ETS When Using a USB Gateway?

If you are having troubling connecting to the KNX bus via USB there are a couple of quick fixes:

• Install this hot fix from the KNX.org. This relates to the sleep mode used in the latest windows versions which can block the USB connection.

• Check ETS has been updated to the current version. This can be checked in the main ETS window on the bottom information bar. You will need to have a valid licence in an attached dongle to update from within the ETS program.

• If your KNX project has multiple lines, make sure you have given the USB gateway a local address that matches this line it is connected to. This is done in communication settings.
